Definite the shortcut keys for commonly used symbols in Word2003 document


At the process the when we use Word2003 to edit the document, if users often need to insert a particular symbol, you can define keyboard shortcuts for symbols to facilitate the input of the symbol. In addition, the steps are as follows:

Step 1: open Word2003 document window. Then click "Insert" → "Symbol" menu command in the menu bar.

Step 2: open the "Symbol" dialog box, locate and select the symbol, which need to define the shortcut (for example, select the "→" symbol). Click the "Shortcuts" button.

Step 3: open Word2003 "Customize Keyboard" dialog box, in the "Press new shortcut key" edit box and press the shortcut key you want to specify (for example, press ALT + Z key combination), and click the "Specify" button , the new shortcut will take effect.

Step 4: in the "Customize Keyboard" dialog box, click "Close" button to return to "symbols" dialog box, then click "Close" button.
